Rose Byrne shouts out Toronto street and neighbourhood where she lived

Academy Award-nominated actress Rose Byrne may not have been in Toronto to accept her latest accolade, but she did let her love of "Hollywood North" be known.During the Toronto Film Critics Association Awards on Mar. 2, Byrne was awarded Best Performance for her role as Linda, a psychotherapist in the indie film If I Had Legs I'd Kick You, a performance that's also up for Best Actress at the Oscars on March 12.Though she couldn't be in Toronto that evening — likely still riding the whirlwind of awards season following the previous night's Actor Awards in Los Angeles — Byrne made sure her gratitude was felt from afar.The Globe and Mail's Barry Hertz shared her pre-taped acceptance speech, which included a heartfelt nod to Toronto, a city where Byrne has filmed numerous projects over the years."I love Toronto.
