The Commissioner-General of the Ghana Revenue Authority, Anthony Sarpong, has donated 850 bags of rice and quantities of cooking oil to NDC regional Zongo caucus coordinators across the country to support Muslim communities ahead of the upcoming Eid al-Fitr celebrations. The gesture forms part of efforts to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan and extend support to Zongo communities as they prepare for the festive period. Under the arrangement, each regional coordinator received 50 bags of rice and cooking oil, which will be distributed to communities to assist families during the celebrations.
